Biographical information:
Since school, I've been...
I have been in the garment industry since I left school. I wrote a book on my life in New York and how I got into the garment industry. In 1962 I was the first black tailor to work for Macys department store as a tailor. After two years I went to work on 125th street and made custom cloths for most of the entertainers the performed at the Apollo theatre. I move to Atlanta and became one of the best tailors in the city. I started teaching tailoring and made and alteration DVD on how to sew.
